The Truth Behind the MW3 Prestige Edition

From the Release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the Prestige Edition was released into the Call of Duty franchise. The package included a full Call of Duty experience, including the full game what you can get in the Hardened Edition and a gadget to brag your friends.

However, this year, Modern Warfare 3 didn’t release a Prestige Edition, only a Hardened Edition. Why is that?

Well, a close family member of DARKKILLER_123 works at Activision HQ and it has been confirmed that a tablet device was planned for the Prestige Edition of MW3.

Sony, which we all know made the PlayStation, was planning on creating this “tablet device”. However, Apple (iPad, iPhone, iPod, Mac) supplies the touch screens for the device.

So when Sony was submitting the plans of this limited-edition device, Apple wasn’t going to get any revenue. They had talks with Sony and Infinity Ward and the plans were scrapped.
