BlizzCon: Starcraft II – Heart of the Swarm
Over a year after the release of Starcraft II its fan base has been continually playing the highly acclaimed game but with the yearning of new content. Now this has changed. At BlizzCon 2011 it was announced that the official expansion named ‘Heart of the Swarm’ would be released next year. During the hour long panel on ‘Heart of the Swarm’, info about the development, concepts, art and technology were discussed as well as info on the upcoming DOTA.
Operation Gratitude: Sending Care Packages To U.S. Military
It costs $15 dollars to send a care package to a U.S. military member. Shouldn’t we do our part and give back to the people who have risked their lives to defend our country. Well, Goodplay has organized a charity called Operation Gratitude where companies such as THQ, Encore, and InXile are donating together 5 of their games to be available free at the Goodplay website to download. This does not mean you have to donate but you should. You can receive a video game downloads free worth about $80 by visiting their website. Germany Lifts Ban On Doom Sales
After 17 years the classic game Doom has finally been classified as an okay game for people to play. When the game was released Doom was thought to be harmful to youth because of the violence and graphics so a ban was put on it. A meeting of the Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young Persons (in Germany) concluded the ban on August 31st. They now think people would understand more from the artistic value and scientific interest. Anyways Doom is going to be available to people 16 years and older in Germany.
