Capcom’s Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge
Exclusively for the 3DS is Capcom’s Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge originally for the Game Boy. Released in 1991, the game takes a lot from its console versions such as various robot masters to choose from. It plays normally but there is a huge difference that separates itself from other Mega Man games. The secret passages and alternate levels are one thing. Now normally in Mega Man there is one certain path you have to take and there are certain enemies. This one is different.
With the ability to teleport and a new ability called quick jump which allows you to quickly jump a slight bit if you accidentally walk off a cliff you can save yourself from falling to your death. This has saved me about 5 times in the game. But, if you fall it isn’t necessarily death. Sometimes actually there is an underground passage but it’s more difficult and there aren’t items. There are restore points thankfully. Those are a big help. The graphics still aren’t great but they are improved quite a bit.
So there are good things such as restore points and alternate passages but it isn’t nearly the best Mega Man.
If you only own a 3DS and have $4 to spare then buy this.
TheGameGuide rates Capcom’s Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge a 7 out of 10. Thanks for reading!
Awesome Buys: 3DS Microsuede Touch Pak
It’s a convenient little 3DS gear pack that includes:
Microsuede Wallet
· Storage for Nintendo 3DS and 3 games
· Plush comfortable feel
2 Jumbo Click Stylus
· Retractable tip for safe travel
· Comfortable rubberized grip
The styluses are not needed. In fact a regular stylus works
better. The storage case for the 3DS and 3 games worked quite well. But
obviously it doesn’t fit in your pocket while in the case. It’s a good purchase
when you add it up!
