Project Soul and Namco Reenter the Ring With SoulCalibur V
Having grown up in the Sega Genesis era and playing every platform available since, I am no stranger to fighting games. From Eternal Champions to King of Fighters, I’ve played and seen them all. Now all good fighting games come and go but one game always distinguished itself from all the others in my eyes. That was the Soulcalibur series, Namco’s crown jewel of the fighting genre. Not only do the fluid environment and character graphics blow most other games in its genre out of the water, but the use of a weapon based combat system gave the game an individuality in a sea of monotony.
